The Estate Diary is a home and interior design diary. We cover real rooms: living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, exteriors, pools, and the small spaces most design sites skip because they're harder to style well.
We started this to collect the ideas that worked in real homes, not just the ones that photograph well. Each article is built around specific choices: a wood tone, a layout trick, a way to fit a working kitchen into a tight footprint. When a room here works, we try to explain why, down to the paint sheen or the shelf height.
Here's how it stays free to read. Many of the products we link to are affiliate links. As an affiliate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you, and that's what covers hosting, image licensing, and the time it takes to research and write each piece. We also plan to run limited display advertising alongside those links once the site qualifies with our ad partners. It won't get in the way of reading an article.
We don't take payment to feature a product or write a good review. If we recommend something, it's because we'd use it in the room we're describing.
Have a question, a correction, or a room you'd like us to cover? Email us at chainfluxai@gmail.com or use the contact form. We read everything and answer most messages within a couple of days.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for clicking through when a link is useful to you. That's what keeps this going.
